Problems with sonicstage.. it wont let me play music!!!!

Help! I own a vaio pocket mp3 player and im very impressed with its performance, however not so with the Software, Sonicstage... All of my music on my computer is completely legal, and ive have registered my vaio and all the music.

Every thing was running fine until i had an error within my pc and had to use the restore tool.. afterwards sonicstage tried to start up and it then clicked on to the information backup restore tool.. that was ok... i followed the instructions through until i realised that it was unable to connect to the internet.. i ran through many different things to see what i could do.. then went on this very website and discovered how i could do it manually... from then on it all worked fine..

I recently started up my pc clicked on sonicstage and it kept on freezing when it got onto the UI Initialitions stage of loading... i had to use the restore tool again and then started up my pc afterwards expecting to end up using the nformation backup restore tool .. all ok until yet again it couldnt connect to the internet so i did it manually and it all worked fine.... until

When i now try to play music files in sonicstage it flashes up with the error:

There is invalid rights management information in the OpenMG content

Can any one help?? please im desperate !!

Many Thanks

Unfortunatley not im afraid, elbow grease is reqiured

I have google open in a window as I rip the CD.

You can race to find the cover art before the CD has finished for a bit more fun, hehe

(or is that just me!!! hehe)

Jack,

One good thing is the database is stored on Sony's site, so you don't have to worry about backing that up.

I suggest MP3 - no DRM, no restrictions, can be used on 100s of players.....

Shame it doesn't use OGG Vorbis

DRM is digital rights management and stops you from copying music from one computer to another, copying CDs or copying from a music player to another device.

It's made to limit your use.

Hi,

What image size would you recommend

300 X 300 pixels is the norm.

I dont use a VP but for SS & Vaio Media it fine,
